The black fabric is easy to clean, and the white, thick shoelaces give them a distinctive look. The thick toe offers some protection, which is a nice touch. The "Dissolve" sole was a major factor in my decision to buy them. I tried them on, and they're neither too hard nor too soft—probably because they haven't been broken in yet.
