HD2018 is considered the final installment in the HD series. While it might not perform as well in actual games as the previous generations, it's still a decent pair of basketball shoes. The configuration includes forefoot and heel air cushions, along with a midfoot torsion plate, which is quite a luxurious setup. However, its lateral stability is really not great, as those who've worn them can attest. The upper is made of a woven material, which is soft and breathable. Both the forefoot and heel air cushions are exposed, so there's a risk of punctures from foreign objects—it's recommended to use them indoors. For outdoor use, the outsole is durable, but the grip isn't particularly outstanding. Initially, the shoes can feel tight around the instep and may cause some discomfort, but you can loosen the laces at first and break them in over a few wears. The sizing is normal, so no need to size up or down. At the current price of around 400 RMB, this configuration is quite economical. Plus, these shoes are perfect for DIY projects—pure white versions allow for plenty of creative customization. Just be aware that the lateral support might be an issue; mine slightly protrudes outward, and after wearing them for a while, you might notice the air cushion feel isn't as pronounced. Remember to check for this when purchasing.
