The shoes feel great on the feet, and they even came with an extra pair of shoelaces. I wore them for a PE class and they were really comfortable, with strong grip. Another plus is that they look good and go well with many outfits. Just a heads-up, if you get your normal size, they might feel a bit big.

The NB2002R in 'Original Grey' is a retro running shoe that's honestly more suited for fashion and occasional light exercise. The upper is made of a single-layer mesh combined with suede and pigskin leather, giving it a vintage, warm, and cozy vibe, perfect for winter days. It feels quite premium and stylish. When I actually wore it, the forefoot felt comfortable and roomy, while the heel, lined with soft fabric, provided a nice snug fit. The ankle area was slightly tight at first, but buying true to size worked fine. Over time, the forefoot does loosen up a bit. As for running performance, let's just say it's pretty average. The full-length midsole is made of foam, and there's a cushioning module in the heel, similar to what you'd find in Asics. The initial feel isn't great, but it gets softer and more bouncy with wear. However, if you're looking for a shoe to actually run in, this one doesn't offer much in terms of support or propulsion. It's definitely more of a 'retro' runner in that sense. For me, it's the perfect casual shoe. It looks amazing and goes with almost any outfit. Highly versatile and stylish!
