The shoes are decent to wear; they're not as soft and bouncy as the 13 Flyknit, but they get the job done. They feel comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed. However, the sizing runs small, so it's best to try them on before choosing your size. For heavier guards, they might not provide enough support.
