The Valentine's Day limited edition colorway looks really nice. The shoes feature two Velcro patches on the side—one combines the logo with petals, and the other with a butterfly. Inside the tongue, the right shoe has a origami crane, while the left has a heart. The insoles also include Valentine's Day elements, and the torsion bar has a pearlescent effect. The fit requires some break-in, but the comfort is better than the first generation. The forefoot feels soft and bouncy, and both the insole and forefoot are slightly thinner. The grip is good, even on outdoor courts with some loose dust, and the shoes perform well during movements without much dust buildup. The natural bending point is also reasonable. Overall, these feel like a great pair for women and need some wear-in to fit perfectly. If you have wider feet, it's recommended to size up as the forefoot feels a bit tight on the sides. The heel has improved slip resistance compared to the first generation, though it still slightly rubs the ankle and little toe. In summary, the Lives 1st Gen V2 Valentine's Day limited edition, priced at around $30, is definitely worth considering. While it has its flaws, the pros outweigh the cons.

I wore the QianCheng 11 and found it a bit tight on my toes, so with the Reeves 1st Gen, I opted for a size up. The Reeves 1st Gen fits perfectly now, and it feels great on both sides. I think the stability should be fine for indoor courts, but I'll have to test it on outdoor courts. The forefoot of the shoe left a strong impression on me—it has pretty quick rebound, similar to the QianCheng 9. As for stability, I feel it's decent so far.
