First off, I was pleasantly surprised—the actual product is really, really cool! I was torn between the Reverse Alert and this Crackle design, but after buying it, I can say it definitely didn't disappoint! As for the craftsmanship, the OG version is noticeably better than the regular ones. No excess glue, and it's even better than the Golf version! The leather, though, is different from what I expected. It's not soft cowhide but rather a bit stiff. To be honest, it's not as soft as the Golf version, both in terms of the leather and the sole, which are both on the harder side. The original insole? I swapped it out within minutes—couldn't stand it! [Hoo] As for the crackle pattern, it seems pretty durable so far. I reckon it'll hold up for a year or two, haha! Lastly, the sizing.
